Are you looking to get your foot in the door at a national non-profit organization? Do you want a volunteer opportunity that challenges you? Would you like to learn about health care and vision loss, while developing professional skills? Then CNIB has the program for you! The CNIB Centre Support program starts ASAP. Volunteers will be assigned a regular shift to help out in the office and store. During their shift, volunteers will do assignments including: - Demonstrating products and assistive devices to people coming to the Centre - Administrative tasks like digitalizing files, reception, data entry, and photocopying - Calling clients who participated in CNIB programs to find out about their experience - Calling clients and volunteers to remind them about appointments and events - Researching best practices as well as recruitment and fundraising opportunities Candidates must be professional, dependable, and flexible with an eagerness to learn and try new things. Good communication skills are a must! Training will be offered. The minimum age is 18 years old.
